Online School
Online learning should go beyond memorising knowledge and should include personal, social and emotional development as well as fostering essential human skills needed for the future.

Our Montessori inspired programme for ages 7 to 11 blends the national curriculum with real-life learning not normally found in other online schools.

-
We provide morning personalised, self-paced learning of English, Mathematics and Science on our generative AI learning platform used in many UK schools, supervised by qualified primary teachers.
-
In the afternoons is practical hands-on learning through Project Based Learning where students apply knowledge to real-life problems, entrepreneurship and practical life activities.
-
There is no school on Fridays to enable our learners to follow their own interests and passions, e.g sport, dance, drama and other hobbies.
-
There is daily interaction with our learners in the physical hub and regular meet-ups at local venues
to join in fun activities arranged and supervised by the school.

Mastery of the core subjects of English, Mathematics and Science is achieved through Century Tech, a leading digital learning platform which delivers personalised, self-paced interactive learning under the live supervision and support of one qualified mentor to 12 learners of mixed age and ability. This is supplemented by individualised intervention plans, one-to-one and small study breakout groups, video, pre-recorded and group activities. There is continuous assessment of learning which is accessible by both mentors and parents on a daily basis.

As part of the weekly schedule, our learners enjoy Project Based Learning and entrepreneurship, working collaboratively with their peers both online and via video technology in the physical hub, to solve real life problems including those identified in the UN Sustainable Development Goals for example, water scarcity, climate change or social inequality. It is through this application and extension of academic knowledge that brings relevance to learning as well as developing the life skills of critical thinking, creativity, adaptability, resilience and a positive growth mindset.

An essential element of our online programme is the safety and mental well-being of our young learners. There is daily interactive contact and supervision from our qualified mentors, circle time at the beginning of each day, group discussions and social breaks.

Our Head of Community, Ann-Marie who is also our Pastoral and Designated Safe Guarding Lead, is available to discuss any problems or difficulties that might arise either in or out of school and is responsible for online safety which is of paramount importance.

We arrange regular gatherings and visits in the UK at local venues where learners and parents can meet each other in-person and enjoy planned sport, music and social activities under the supervision of the school.
